A Celebration of Firsts: My Mommy Bloggers Philippines Christmas Party and Icon Hotel Timog Experience

The first day of December became a celebration of “firsts” not only for me but for Mommy Bloggers Philippines and Icon Hotel Timog as well. I was ecstatic when I received an invitation from MBP because it’s my first Christmas Party with my fellow blogger moms. MBP worked for the first time with Icon Hotel Timog and brought us a day full of fun and prizes. Their collaboration was a huge success.

To perfectly match Icon Hotel Timog’s style, MBP’s theme was At The Movies. IMG_9618

Time to pull off our favorite movie characters. As you may have read on my previous post, each room and suit in Icon Hotel is designed with a world-renowned star not only in Hollywood but other fields as well. The party was held at Nobel Peace Prize hall. Pati name ng hall in character talaga!

Welcome remarks by Mr. Joey Flores, Icon Hotel Timog’s Manager

MBP Admins Lani and Louisa

Icon Hotel Timog’s staff arranged this grand set up:

Too bad I did not have enough time to buy a costume or make one so I decided to wear my Wonder Woman shirt. This stylish photowall is courtesy of Buzy Bee Bouquets and Balloons.

The party started with a sumptuous lunch. Sample dishes were put in place and we got a chance to take photos before indulging ourselves to buffet. I particularly liked Pork Chop in Apple Auju Sauce. Oh before I forget, appetizer was Nachos and there’s free flowing coffee. Tim Hortons also satisfied our sweet tooth by sending us donuts and coffee.

Games were played and Mystery Envelope was my favorite. We had to pass envelopes from left to right, right to left and across based on the direction that Louisa gave. Nakakababa not knowing what’s inside and which one would be left to you. The excitement was evident on every mommy’s face more so when we finally had the chance to open our envelopes. Some got gift certificates while mine’s free coupons and birthday party certificate from McDonald’s! Woohoo! I can’t wait to bond with my family using these!

Mommies gladly went home with skincare items, hair products, GCs and appliances from the raffle draw. I did not win any prize but the fact that I was able to exprience all this fun made me a winner already *wink*

To make it more entertaining , chosen mommies who nailed it with their iconic look received special awards. Icon Hotel chose the Top 4 Best Dressed moms who received prizes while The Most Iconic mom won a free staycation in any room of her choice. That’s really awesome! Congratulations, Wonder Woman! Next year, I’ll come prepared. Kakaririn ko yan hehe.

Before wrapping up, we exchanged gifts and I was so delighted with what I’ve received from Mommy Lally. Thank you!

One of the things that I love when attending events is meeting new mommy bloggers and I’m thankful I shared the table with you, sis Aubrey and the rest of Row 4 🙂 ❤️

Generous sponsors shared their love to us this holiday season. First day pa lang ng December pero grabe na ang regalo! My hands and heart were full as I went home loaded with gifts. My kids were so pleased and I even shared these blessings to a special friend who’s in need.

Look at these!

My first MBP Christmas Party was truly memorable and I will remember it for the rest of my life. Pwede na bang nominee for Best Actress? Hehe. Kidding aside, all I can say is I’m grateful to this blogging community, Icon Hotel Timog and to all sponsors that made us extremely happy that day. This Nocturnal Mom would like to sing you a song- Thank you, thank you, ang babait ninyo, thank you! ❤️
